The beach stretches for miles in both directions. The fine sandy beach is 300 meters away.

In Petten, there is a Spar supermarket and shops for household goods, drugstore items, clothing, and toys.
You will also find 3 restaurants with cozy terraces, a pizzeria, and a snack bar.
Visit Schagen (13 km away) with its West Frisian market (on Thursdays).
