Description

This is a beautiful 4-bedroom holiday home for 8 people in Rodershausen, Germany. In front of the house is a garden with garden furniture and a grill, which our guests are welcome to use. A little below the house there is a meadow for sports activities. You will never feel a dull moment here!

As the name suggests, from the house you have a wonderful view of the Luxembourg Our Valley. Rodershausen is a relaxing place with about 200 inhabitants at 500m above sea level. The district town of Bitburg is about 35 km away. The romantic climatic health resort of Neuerburg and the small Luxembourg town of Vianden, with its Victor Hugo house and the famous castle, are each only around 12 km away. With Neuerburg, Vianden and Körperich, 3 outdoor pools can be reached in 10 minutes, and there are also numerous shops. The Cascade Adventure Pool with an indoor pool and sauna world is located in Bitburg.

In the evening, you can enjoy barbecue meals with a drink of your choice! The central heating ensures the house remains warm in winter. The bedrooms are comfortable and perfect for a peaceful sleep.

Gute Hygiene ist in diesen Corona-Zeiten sicherlich eine Erwähnung wert. Mit ein paar kleinen Anpassungen könnte sich der Komfort verbessern. Ich erwähne Verdunkelungsvorhänge, eine Mikrowelle und einen Toaster. Ich bin zwei Morgen früh aufgewacht und konnte angesichts der prallen Sonne im Schlafzimmer nicht wieder einschlafen. Außerdem vermissen wir in einem Kurzurlaub eine Waschmaschine nicht wirklich, aber ohne die Möglichkeit, Kleidung und Handtücher zu waschen, möchten wir hier nicht zwei Wochen mit sechs Personen bleiben. Dieser Urlaub war für uns der erste mit einem vollelektrischen Auto. Der Vermieter hat uns freundlicherweise erlaubt, den Ladestecker in eine normale Steckdose zu stecken. Mit 8 Ampere Aufladung ging das problemlos. Nach einem Schnelllademoment in der Nähe von Maastricht dauerte es 24 Stunden, bis der Akku vollständig aufgeladen war.
