The "Einkehr" holiday apartment is located in a town house from the 16th century in the picturesque and historic old town next to the church of St. Mary near the Tom Pauls theatre. Pirna is also called the "the gateway to Saxon Switzerland".
The holiday accommodation is nestled in the picturesque Elbe valley between the state capital of Dresden and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
Pirna is famous for its historic old town unchanged for centuries, with many small shops, cafes and restaurants. Pirna is known for the paintings of the painter Bernardo Bellotto, called Canaletto.

Fly to Dresden, S-Bahn line starts at the airport building to Pirna.
Train to Dresden central station, from there the S-Bahn to Pirna.
Cycle: directly on the Elbe cycling route. At the roundabout through the tunnel, first street on the left (Am Zwinger) further to Steinplatz, then right into the Langestrasse, then 2nd left (Niedere Burgstr.), then 1st right on Kirchplatz.
