The Kurkarte/tourist tax must be paid by the renter on site, unless the owner calculates it in advance. (3) The renter must pay a deposit of 25% of the rental price within 7 working days after the booking confirmation is received to the bank account on the booking confirmation. The rest of the payment must be made at the latest one month before the rental starts to the bank account listed on the booking confirmation. (4) In the event of short term contracts under one month before arrival, the renter must pay the entire rental price immediately to the owner and the payment of the full contract amount before the house key is handed over (through original bank confirmations or original bank statements). Cancellation of contract. Cancellation (1) The renter and owner can withdraw from the contract at any time before arrival. The owner has a claim to appropriate damages that are based on the amount of the rental price deducting the value of saved expenses as well as success in re-renting the property. (2) A flat fee will be agreed between the parties for damage claims pursuant to section (1) as follows: - cancellation up to 90 days before arrival 20% of the rental price - cancellation up to 60 days before arrival 0% of the rental price - cancellation up to 30 days before arrival 60% of the rental price - cancellation from the 29th day before arrival to the arrival day 90% of the rental price The owner has the right to demand damages either as a flat fee or based on concrete calculations. If the owner claims a flat fee for damages, the owner will receive proof that the owner has incurred damages in the amount claimed. (3) The owner recommends that the renter takes out travel cancellation insurance with their booking for the amount of the contract.
