The guesthouse is predominantly decorated in blue and white and thus continues the Portuguese style.
The property is surrounded by a wall, the pool area is not visible from the outside. There are various terraces, so you can find in every season and daytime a proper place. A hammock invites for relaxing. Also there are a lot of palmtrees, oleanders, olive trees and some almonds, fig-and lemon trees,
The pool is open all year, but not heated.
The use of the large terrace with barbecue, which belongs to the main house, is possible from July to September. A portable barbecue is always available.
The guest house is ideal for two people. For a child there is a possibility of sleeping in the living room, the couch has a good sleeping mattress (however, the way leads into the bathroom through the bedroom). For a smaller child is also a bunk available, which can be placed next to the bed in the bedroom.
The owner lives from October to February, and in April and May in the main house. During this time, the separate guest house is also available. The owner is happy to give tips and is available for any questions.
Outside of this time, there is a English-speaking contact person.

The quinta is located in the hinterland in the 'Serra de Monte Figo' and away from urbanization.
The house is located right between Loulé, São Brás and Sta. Barbara de Nexe (about 6 km to each of the cities). From there you can explore the whole Algarve both west and east on day trips.
Distance to Faro-Airport is 15km.

We love the old architecture of Portugal and have tried to preserve as much as possible in the renovation of the Quinta built in 1902 and to take over. My husband lives in the main house in the months of April, May and October to February and is happy to give tips to guests. In the other months, our guests have the whole property to themselves. During this time there is an English-speaking contact-person.
