Wir wurden von der Besitzerin, der örtlichen Ärztin, freundlich empfangen. Das Haus war ordentlich und sehr gemütlich, sodass man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlte. Die Umgebung ist absolut wunderschön. Der Panoramablick von der Terrasse auf die toskanischen Hügel war phänomenal. Es ist wirklich schade, dass diese Terrasse sowohl oben als auch an den Seiten unzureichend (sprich: dilettantisch) gegen die heiße, pralle Sonne abgeschirmt war. Auf diese Weise können Sie es tagsüber nur für kurze Zeiträume verwenden.

Montecastelli, ein wunderschönes mittelalterliches Dorf auf einem Berg, konnten wir leicht finden. Wir trafen Nedda, die Besitzerin, in der Bar/im Restaurant und hatten eine tolle Zeit, uns dort kennenzulernen. Sie beriet uns zu einigen Dingen in der Gegend. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht vom Haus aus ist wirklich wunderschön. Auf dem Balkon genossen wir die toskanische Landschaft. Sehr schön war auch der Wasserautomat am Ende der Straße mit (kostenlosem) Quellwasser und Mineralwasser für 5 Cent/Liter. Im Haus gab es einen Flaschenständer, den wir täglich füllten. Montecastelli ist ein schönes Dorf mit engen Gassen, in die die meisten Autos nicht passen. Die Straßen sind mit Treppen verbunden, sehr authentisch. Das Innere des Hauses ist sehr geräumig und wunderschön mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Die Bar/Restaurant war auch gut, aber aufgrund zu wenig Personal und zu vielen Gästen war die Wartezeit manchmal zu lang. Es gibt auch eine sehr schöne Reitschule in der Gegend, wo erfahrene Reiter lustige Ausritte in der Natur genießen können.

Montecastelli Pissano, was für eine schöne idyllische Stadt, enge Gassen, alte Häuser, superfreundliche Menschen, Wasserflaschen an der städtischen Wasserstelle, wirklich kein Stress, herrlich entspannend bei tollem Wetter jeden Tag. Unsere Wohnung „AMAZING“ wunderschön eingerichtet und komplett. Die Eigentümerin hat ihr ganzes Herzblut in die Wohnung gesteckt, so dass es sich nicht wie ein Haus, sondern wie ein Zuhause anfühlt. Die Terrasse ist fantastisch, was für eine Aussicht.
Stadt zentral gelegen zwischen verschiedenen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, nichts in der Nähe, aber wirklich zentral und gut zu unternehmen, man braucht unbedingt ein Auto. Pisa, Volterra, Baratti (Meer) und San Gimignano lohnen sich wirklich. Man kann auch in der Nähe in einem Fluss mit Felsen schwimmen, von denen man springen kann, super lustig und schön (aber schwer zu finden).
