Priorat - Wine, Olives, Monuments, and Much More
In the hinterland of Miami Playa lies the Priorat. The Priorat is Catalonia's oldest wine-growing region. In 2001, Priorat was elevated to Spain's highest quality level DOCa (Denominación de Origen Calificada). Currently, the wine-growing areas of Priorat and Rioja are the only two that are allowed to carry this highest designation of origin.
Wine Route: Admire the colors of the wine, try a sip or just enjoy the vineyard landscape. The route of the wineries of Priorat takes you to various bodegas of the DOQ (DOCa) Priorat and the DO Montsant, where you can taste the high-quality, full-bodied wines that are produced there.
The Olive Oil Route
The olive oil from the county of Priorat is an extraordinary oil, whose production process and properties you can discover by visiting various oil mills on this route: in total, there are nine oil mills to visit, where you can taste the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Natural Park Serra del Montsant
In 2002, a natural park with an area of 9,242 hectares was established in part of the mountain range. The Montsant mountain is also located in the hinterland of Miami Playa.
Montsant is home to one of the most diverse plant worlds in Catalonia. In particular, the area around the Montsant River with the resident weasels, genets, or wildcats should be mentioned. Various birds of prey nest on the cliff faces, including the rarely seen black-striped eagle or the eagle owl.
The river impresses with countless reptiles, amphibians, and fish such as the Iberian viper, the salamander, the barbel, or the catfish. The area known as Congost de Fraguerau in Ulldemolins has been declared a refuge for wild plants.

The Delta of the Riu Ebre or Rio Ebro forms the largest wetland on the Catalan Mediterranean coast in terms of area. Spain's most famous river, the Ebro, has created a truly unique, unusual, and beautiful landscape here in its delta; an interplay of lagoons, channels, and rice fields. The rice from the Ebro Delta is an important ingredient for typical Catalan cuisine and one of the most famous specialties – Paella. The Ebro Delta is an important stopover and habitat for numerous bird species. Since 1983, large parts of the Ebro Delta have been designated as a nature reserve.
Miami Playa boasts stunning coves, large and spacious, even during the peak season, the sandy beaches are not overcrowded and offer excellent water quality, located just a few hundred meters from the house.

The cancellation of the contract by the customer can be done at any time but must be in writing.
The following cancellation fees will be retained by the service provider, based on the total rental price:
Cancellation up to 40 days before the start of the rental period 50% of the rental price
Cancellation 39 to 20 days before the start of the rental period 80% of the rental price
Cancellation 19 days before the start of the rental period 95% of the rental price (the non-refundable 5% of the rental price are for costs not incurred for water, electricity, etc.)
Cancellation or withdrawal in the event of a pandemic
In the event of a border closure by the Spanish government, you will receive your deposit back minus a processing fee of €100.00 (or, if you prefer, a voucher).
In all other cases, e.g., due to a travel warning or personal fear, the above withdrawal and cancellation conditions apply.
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, which you can obtain from any travel agency or insurance company.
The basis for the calculation of the cancellation costs is the date of receipt of the mail or email by the homeowner or his authorized representative.
