Tiveden National Park is in the immediate vicinity. There you will find the primeval forest in Tiveden; a hilly and craggy forest landscape with vast ravines. Tiveden National Park is one of the most beautiful forests in southern Sweden. Explore the many, sometimes demanding trails from 0.9 km (30 minutes) to 9.5 km (6 hours) through the primeval forest past rocks, caves and forest lakes.

Drive to 54601 Karlsborg in Schweden Continue on Norra Vägen/Route 49 to the northwest - 220 m Take the second exit in the roundabout to stay on Norra Vägen/Route 49 Continue on Route 49 - 10.6 km Turn left - 4.2 km Turn right - 6.6 km Turn right - 8.4 km Turn right towards T 503 - 43 m Continue on T 503 - 5.3 km drive on the gravel path approx. 10 min. (4.9 km) Turn right after the letterboxes and bins on the left side - 850 m turn right. Follow the gravel path another 3.6 km and then turn left onto the private path. After approx. 350 m you will be right at the house.

Wir sind mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern eine Woche hier gewesen und alle waren begeistert. Die Natur ist ein Traum, der Ausblick auf den See wunderschön. Wir haben Sauna und Zuber genossen und waren wandern im Nationalpark bei den Trollen und Rumpelwichten. Das Haus war super ausgestattet und Familie Kranke jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar. Für einen Entspannungsurlaub für Erwachsene ist das Haus und die Lage perfekt!

Positiv: Die Lage am See mit wunderbarer Aussicht von der Terrasse und dem Wohnzimmer, die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und die schöne Umgebung. Weder Sauna noch Badezuber haben wir benutzt, da z.B. das Anheizen des Zubers mit Holz mindestens 3-4 Stunden gedauert hätte. Den E-Motor für das Boot haben wir auch nur 1x benutzt, da es uns zu aufwändig war, die schwere Autobatterie und den Motor den Hang hinunter zum Boot und wieder hoch zu schleppen. Negativ: Das 2. Schlafzimmer (das ohne Gitterbett) wirkt renovierungsbedürftig (z.B. Wasserfleck an der Decke) und nicht einladend für Erwachsene, da die Tapeten mit großen, bunten, halb abgerissenen Kinderbildern beklebt sind. Insgesamt wirkt das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Dafür ist das Haus leider recht teuer.
