Our vacation home 'MeerZeit' (Sea Time) is centrally located in Friedrichskoog-Spitze, at the end of a cul-de-sac.
Our home convinces by its spacious floor plan and its extensive furnishing.
For you are available 2 bedrooms (1st floor with double bed, 2nd. floor with 2 single beds and spacous reading corner), 1 large shower room with washing machine, 1 floor with wardrobe and plenty storage room. The fully equipped, modern kitchen is located in the heart of the flat and is part of a large, sunny living and dining room.
In the outdoors, a sunny and spacious southeast balcony with your own beach chair (typical for Norther Germany) and 2 deck chairs is awaiting you!
Wireless Internet Access, cot, children high chair as well as your own parking space in front of the door are of course included and free of charge.
Your four-legged (dog) is more than welcome for a small surcharge. Please note herewith, that the flat is on the 1st floor and can only be reached via outside stairs (see photos).
Only a few minutes by foot and you are at the seaside. Extensive walks start right at your door. The Wadden Sea is awaiting you!

Only a few minutes away by foot, you will find the beach, restaurants, ice cream parlor, souvenir stores, a mini golf area, am amber grinding shop and a lot more. In the village centre, there is also the tourismus service with further information for trips, current offers etc.
By foot, by bicylce or with the car you can visit in the nearby Friedrichskoog the famous and popular Seal Station and 'Willi', the indoor playground in the form of a huge Whale.
Supermarkets are also available there.
Mudflats, simply a day at the seaside, a separate nude area: the North Sea right at your door offers plenty opportunities.
Places like Marne, Brunsbuettel, Buesum or Sankt Peter Ording are ideal for a day trip.
Getting there
The Spa Village Friedrichskoog is located directly at the North Sea in Dithmarschen/ Schleswig-Holstein (Germany). The World Heritage Wadden Sea is right outside the front door!
Friedrichskoog is approx. 100 km away from Hamburg, shortly before Buesum and St. Peter-Ording.
The fastest way to get to Friedrichskoog from the South is via Hamburg on the Autobahn A23.
Take the north direction Pinneberg/Husum and take exit 'Itzehoe-Mitte'. From there, take the highway B5 via Brunsbuettel until Marne. In Marne, turn left in the direction 'Friedrichskoog-Ort'. Via road L144 you will reach Friedrichskoog-Spitze from there.
Those who decide to drive around the Elbe Tunnel, may also take the Elbe Ferry from Wischhafen to Gluecksstadt. From Gluecksstadt, take the road to Marne and from there to Friedrichskoog-Spitze.
In the village, you will reach your vacation home by turning right into the first street right after the village sign.
Proceed on this street 'Sandfoort' until the penultimate house on the left side, house number 46.

Information from the host
Terms of cancellations
The tenant can withdraw from the rental agreement before the start of the rental period in writing to the landlord.
Decisive for this is the time the landlord receives the notice of cancellation.
If the tenant withdraws from the lease, he/she has to make a flat-rate compensation for the expenses already incurred by the landlord and the lost profit.
Here are our cancellation conditions:
Cancellation up to 45 days before the start of the rental period: 25 %
Cancellation up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 50 %
Hereafter and with no-show: 80 %.

For bookings below 3 nights we calculate an additional one-time payment of 30 EUR
In the main season, arrivals and departures are only possible on Saturdays and Sundays.

Nach einem wunderbaren ersten Urlaub im Spätsommer 2021 hat es mich erneut nach Friedrichskoog in die Ferienwohnung MeerZeit gezogen. Auch dieses Mal konnte mich nicht nur die Ferienwohnung samt Lage & Ausstattung restlos überzeugen, sondern auch der tolle Service der Vermieterin.
Wer also Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, abseits vom Lärm des Alltags, gerne mal einfach nur in die Weite schaut und neugierig an den Deich schlendert, um zu gucken, ob das Meer gerade da ist, ist an diesem wunderbaren Fleckchen vollkommen richtig.
Und wer on top eine Ferienwohnung sucht, welche sauber und ordentlich ist, zum entspannen einlädt, sowie freundlichen Gästeservice schätzt, der sollte sich eine Auszeit bei MeerZeit gönnen.
Ich komme wieder; versprochen :-)

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einer tollen und ruhigen Umgebung, unweit vom Strand entfernt. Die Möbel und Dekoraion der Wohnung ist sehr stimmig und wurde mit viel Liebe gewählt. Hinzu kommt eine tolle Ausstattung der Küche mit zusammen passenden, funktionstüchtigen und nicht wild zusammen gemixten Geschirr, Besteck und Küchengeräten. Die Wohnung war bei Anreise blitzblank gereinigt, ohne die kleinste Staubflocke oder Spinnwebe. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist sehr schnell und kundenorientiert. Da auch das Internet mittlerweile ein wichtiger Faktor ist: Die Datenverbindung ist schnell und war auch die ganze Zeit stabil. Unser 2. Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung Meerzeit war wie bei dem 1. Aufenthalt sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat an Ausstattung nichts gefehlt, alles war vorhanden was man so benötigt. Wir haben besonders den Strandkorb auf der Terrasse, den Hundefreundliche Strand und die Lage der Ferienwohnung genossen. Wir empfehlen die Ferienwohnung weiter, denn uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, es war mal wieder ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtetund gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf dem Balkon kann man den gesamten Tag die Sonne genießen. Es ist ruhig und der Weg zum Deich nur ein Katzensprung. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche.

Wir haben Anfang Juli eine Woche in dieser sehr schönen, stilvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Ausstattung lies keine Wünsche offen.... Die Wohnung selbst ist nahe dem Meer gelegen, gute Restaurants in der Nähe.... es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.....
