This home unites the charm of the genuine and „unperfected „ with a cosy feel -well atmosphere. Just newly renovated in 2020 with much love for the detail, it enchants with wooden floors, a wood chimney ,Tiffany lamps, massive wood furniture and natural building materials as for example chalk plaster and silicate colors. A little stock of wood is included and makes sure that ,together with our little library, even cooler days will be worth being here.
Nicely cut with a large, bright kitchen to the south, two bedrooms and a living room, it is also suitable for family holidays. (a small, hardly visited playground borders directly on the property).
From the windows you can let your eyes wander to the Hunsrück or also to Maifeld and Koblenz. The small, quiet Eifel Moselle village of Kail is an excellent starting point for hikes and bike tours, and cultural / historical excursions in the near and far surroundings.

On about 75 square meters you will find everything you need - even for a longer stay. From book exchange check, W-LAN / Lan connection (TV) to board games and a small cafe and juice machine, fresh organic herbs and a great kitchen. By using natural building materials such as Loam and lime plaster, biological paint and oiled solid wood make the stay pleasant even for allergy sufferers and sensitive people.

Hiking, castles, culture, swimming, old town Cochem, Koblenz, Eifel, Mosel
The "old school" is located directly on the Moselsteig Trail / 19 or 6, a popular hiking trail that leads from Klotten to Pommern.. Cochem is less than 10 minutes away by car and attracts with its old town and sights such as the Reichsburg Cochem (can be visited all year round).
There is a cafe diagonally opposite, in the next town, Illerich (3km) there is a village shop.
Kail is incredibly quiet and close to nature between the Moselle and the Eifel, surrounded by beautiful forests that you can explore on long walks if you want to leave your car. Around the house there are beautiful paths through forest and field, where you are mostly alone and everything so close that even smaller children can walk with them.
The Moselle with its side valleys and castles is almost on the doorstep. Eltz Castle is 15 km away. The nature and hiking paradise "Laacher See" is half an hour away, as well as other smaller Maare in the Vulkaneifel, including the Ulmener , Pulver- and Schalkenmehrener Maar.
The Old School Kail is located directly above the village of Pommern/Moselle. From there they drive 4 km up the mountain, the school is located directly behind the church.
Coming from the A 48 motorway, it is located at the end of the town directly in front of the church.
