Description

This authentic castle was probably built at the end of the 16th century or at the beginning of the 17th century. The beautiful garden with a pond, the luxurious design and numerous facilities make this stay ideal for a dream holiday with a large group. In addition to the comfortable king-size beds with room for 18 adults, 4 people can sleep on a sofa bed, 2 on single beds in the dormitory and another 2 on pull-out beds from the same single beds. There are also 6 sleeping places for children in the bunk beds.

La Gentilhommière de Ferot is located north of Ferrières, near the village of Malaccord. You can enjoy cycling and walking in the beautiful surroundings and a visit to nearby places such as Durbuy and Aywaille is also possible.

The farm is located on the left of the castle. The courtyard is bordered by the house, a shed, stables and a chartil. The Gentihommière and the farm are supplied by the Vieux Pouhon, a tributary of the Lembée. A pond adorns the beautiful park in which you can relax.

Die Unterkunft leidet daran, dass die Betreuung und Instandhaltung durch eine Agentur nicht gründlich genug ist. Leider war die Küche bei Ankunft nicht gut gereinigt, die Asche der Vormieter und der Dreck waren in den Kaminen, im Pizzaofen und der Plancha. Mehrere Abflüsse in den Bädern funktionierten nicht. Heißes Wasser zum Duschen war Glücksache. Hier wurde mal viel Geld investiert und sich etwas dabei gedacht, aber es fehlt an der jährlichen Instandsetzung. Schade!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt mit unserer Gruppe von Kollegen. Ein wunderschönes Haus, wirklich geräumig mit fantastischer Ausstattung. Spielen Sie Tennis, entspannen Sie im Whirlpool, spielen Sie Billard und Tischfußball. Für jeden etwas dabei.... das Haus ist ordentlich und sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, die Rohre quietschen zwar, aber dann duscht man einfach etwas kürzer. Es ist ein wunderschönes altes Haus und dann kommt man etwas schneller ans Ziel. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wirklich gerne weiterempfehlen und ich denke, wir werden mit einer Familiengruppe wiederkommen. Es gibt einen schönen Supermarkt in der Nähe und es gibt viel zu unternehmen. Auch der Kontakt hat sehr gut geklappt!
