Description

Casa Margherita is a two-storey Tuscan-style country house, ideal for families. It is very spacious and nestled in a well-kept, very large garden with a covered seating area and a brick fireplace. The house is tastefully furnished, has a living room with fireplace, a large, fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher and washing machine), two bedrooms with double beds, an open gallery with a sofa bed for two people and three bathrooms.

The Camporata is a hamlet with 3 accommodations and belongs to the directly adjacent Agriturismo Vinci (with 5 other accommodations), which also has a private lake for swimming or fishing. There you will also find the Ristorante Le Contrade and the Bar and Pizzeria Eldorado, where we will be happy to spoil you.

Holiday destination

The Camporata estate is located in picturesque Tuscany, where world-famous wines are produced. The nearest village is Gaiole in Chianti (approx. 500m away, with various shopping facilities) in the heart of the so-called Chianti Classico area.

In the surrounding area you will find various historical buildings such as Castello di Brolio, Castello di Spaltenna and Castello di Meleto, but also picturesque medieval villages such as Barbischio and Vertine.

Florence and Siena are also less than an hour's drive away. Along practically all the routes you can discover Tuscan wineries, which usually offer wine tastings in addition to direct sales.

Getting there

If you have a navigation system in your car, enter "Via Guglielmo Marconi" in Gaiole in Chianti, Italy, as your destination.

Coming from the north, follow the Autostrada A1 in the direction of Florence and Rome. Approx. 35 km after Florence, take the Valdarno exit and then head towards Montevarchi.

Follow the signs to Siena or Gaiole. From Montevarchi it takes about half an hour to reach Gaiole.

Once in Gaiole, follow the signs for Barbischio on Via Guglielmo Marconi. The access road (natural road) to Camporata is about 500m from the centre of Gaiole on the right-hand side (directly opposite the access road to Agriturismo Vinci and Ristorante Le Contrade).
