Dear guests, we - Bernhard and Edda Poppen - have been running the "Landhaus Altebrücke" since 1999 and have expanded it every year as far as we can from a small private three-room guesthouse to a larger house with 10 holiday apartments. We made sure to stay in the middle of our guests and to keep in touch. We succeeded so well that around 80% of our guests return as regular guests.
The holiday home is located close to the coast in the middle of the Frisian countryside on open water and has its own jetty. Wonderful canoe tours into Jeverland can be undertaken from there. We have enough space to park the water sports equipment and bicycles you have brought with you.
We are also happy to accommodate your dogs. Most of the apartments are on the ground floor and are easily accessible even for people with disabilities. You can park your car in your own video-monitored free parking lot near the apartment.If you would like breakfast, you can book it on site.

The city of Jever with the castle, the naval city of Wilhelmshaven with its many ports and museums and the small ports of the Wangerland offer many excursion destinations. Likewise, the beaches of the Wangerland in Hooksiel, Horumersiel and Schillig and the Wadden Sea can be reached by car or bicycle in a few minutes. We would also be happy to take you on a boat tour to the East Frisian Islands or the Wadden Sea, you are welcome to charter the MY "Anna".
Sie fahren auf der A29 in Richtung Wilhelmshaven bis zur Abfahrt 4 Sengwarden/Hooksiel/Horumersiel. Dort fahren Sie in Richtung Horumersiel auf die L 810 ab. Nachdem Sie mittels der Ortsumgehung Hooksiel bis in den Kreisverkehr nördlich von Hooksiel gefahren sind, fahren Sie in die dritte Ausfahrt auf der L810 Richtung Horumersiel ab. Nach 3,5 km finden Sie unser Haus auf der linken Strassenseite hinter einem auffälligem Steinwall liegen.

Our families have lived in this region for generations. That's why we decided in 1999 to acquire and modernize the country house that was for sale. We have made our passion our main field of activity. Constant improvements in the house and garden are our hobby and also our favorite leisure activity. In this course we tried to find a Frisian, cozy and calm line.
