The small town is located south of Husum, and only a few kilometers from the North Sea. Culturally, there is much to discover, such as the Hoyerswort Mansion, a house so stately that it is commonly referred to as a castle. In the marshland, which is protected as an archaeological cultural monument, and in the Oldensworter Vorland, nature and bird watchers will find a paradise. Activities in the area: Around Oldenswort you can discover the tranquility of the North Frisian landscape perfectly by bike. The North Sea Coast Cycle Path and the Viking Frisian Path long-distance cycle paths run right through the village, so you can easily experience part of it. In the center of the village are shops, a cafe and a restaurant. Those who like to fire up the grill on a mild summer evening should definitely try the "Eiderstedter Rostbratwurst" from the Landschlachter.
