Our lovingly, newly furnished apartment is located directly on the edge of the woods. For a relaxing stay, the apartment features a beautiful terrace, an entrance area with high-quality kitchen and a small seating area for 4 people. A new bathroom with shower and toilet and 2 bedrooms are also on this floor. The living room is upstairs - only accessible via a spiral staircase - with a large balcony and beautiful view of the spacious garden and forest. There is also a small reading area, storage room and a newly designed bathroom with free-standing tub in the upstairs area. Free WiFi.

The property is completely fenced and there is a parking space and a carport for your car. The safe storage of bicycles etc. is also guaranteed. Please note that the apartment can only be reached via stairs and that there is a narrow spiral staircase in the house.
A linen package (bed linens, 1 small and 1 large towel) can be booked on request for €25 per person.
Please note that you will need a large fitted sheet for the box spring beds and the French bed.

The popular town of Wernigerode with its historic town centre and elaborately restored and colourful half-timbered houses is located on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains. The German writer Hermann Löns coined the nickname "Bunte Stadt am Harz" ('Colourful City of the Harz') towards the end of the 19th century. The town hall on the market square, the crooked house, the smallest house and the oldest house are just a few of the special features that make up the rich half-timbered landscape of Wernigerode.
The remains of the city fortifications are also particularly worth seeing, the Krummelsches Haus, whose front is completely covered with a carved wooden facade, and of course Wernigerode Castle, which towers majestically over the city.
Wernigerode has 2 exits from the A36. We recommend the north exit and then follow the signs towards Zentrum/Schierke. At the Westerntor intersection, turn right towards Schierke and follow Friedrichstrasse for about 3 km to the railway tracks. After the railway tracks, do a half left onto "Trift" street, drive about 200 m and turn half right. Now drive straight to the holiday home.
