Holiday villa "Waterhuis" is not located directly on the water but on the second row, yet the balcony still offers a beautiful view over the Prinses Margriet Canal and the extensive meadows.
Layout
The holiday home is well-maintained and fully furnished. Your holiday villa has a beautiful garden where children can play. On the ground floor is the living room with an open kitchen. From the living room, you can access the terrace and the garden through patio doors. On the upper floor are the three bedrooms and the bathroom. At the front, there is a shed where you can possibly store bicycles. Your car can be parked in front of the house.

During the summer months, the many tourists in the watersport village of Grou create a lively atmosphere. You have the option to bring your own boat or rent one and dock it at the harbor in the park (private mooring within walking distance of the house). From the holiday home, you can wonderfully enjoy your vacation on the "Pikmeer" or cycle through the many picturesque villages in the area. In the charming village of Grou, nice markets take place during the summer months. From Grou, you can take a beautiful tour on a traditional Frisian Skûtsje. The Frisian cities of Sneek and Leeuwarden (with some nice museums) are definitely worth a visit. In Grou, you will find a supermarket, bakery, butcher, bars, and restaurants with terraces, as well as a bank and boat and bicycle rental. Pets are not allowed in the house.
It is a well-maintained house near a cozy tourist village where you can have a wonderful vacation with your family.
