This former farmhouse is a harmonious interplay of historic charm and modern amenities. With its whitewashed exterior walls, wooden beamed ceilings and tasteful furnishings, "Le Champcery" radiates warmth and character.
You enter the well-equipped kitchen and dining room. Here you can enjoy cozy meals by the crackling wood fire. Adjacent you will find the spacious living room, an inviting place to relax, play a game or watch television. Right next to it you enter the former "pig stable", which has now been converted into a lovely room with a view of the garden and where you can enjoy the setting sun in the evening.
The bathroom in "Le Champcery" exudes contemporary elegance with high-quality furnishings and modern comfort. This oasis of relaxation offers guests an invigorating shower experience with its spacious walk-in shower with glass walls and a rain shower. The contemporary sink with stylish taps contributes to the refined atmosphere of the room. The house has a comfortable bedroom where you wake up in the morning to the sound of twittering birds.
Outside there is a lush garden surrounded by green fields and forests. Issy-l'Evêque is located in a beautiful region called the South Morvan and is known for its lovely 'bocage' landscape, the white Charolais cows and Romanesque churches.
The well-known Morvan regional nature park begins eight kilometers north of Issy-l'Evêque. The Morvan is a beautiful natural park in Burgundy. It is a mountainous area where you can still find real untouched nature. The landscape is characterized by mountains, hills, vast forests, blue lakes and babbling rivers. There is plenty to do and experience in this region.
There are also numerous nice towns. Vézelay still has a medieval character and you will find the nicest restaurants and shops there. Château-Chinon and Autun are also fantastic and should not be missed. Want to relax at a nice swimming lake? Then pay a visit to Lac des Settons.
In short, there is plenty to do in the Morvan!.
But there is also a lot of nature experience nearby. A hundred meters from the house you can walk straight into the forest, where deer, foxes and wild boars can cross your path. A little further on, on the banks of the river Somme, lives a population of beavers.
