Kamilari is a beautiful picturesque, traditional village situated on a hill with panoramic view in the Messara valley. It s blessed with sunny weather all year around and excellent clima. The nature is still unspoiled and in general is an easy going place.

There are two important archeological sites in walking distance, Festos 2 km and Matala caves 5 km. In Matala there are several night bars from May-November. The area is ideal for walking, swimming and mountain hike. Most people who visit the village come back.
