This holiday home has been inspected and evaluated according to the star criteria of the German Tourism Association. Depending on equipment and service, the accommodation is awarded one to five stars.
The partly original and natural wooden floors create a homely atmosphere and provide an insight into the history of this listed house. On the ground floor you can see the original, supporting oak beams from 1699, which exude a special dignity. The modern furnishings include classics from Catallani & Smith, USM, Loberon and Riviera Maison. Music can be streamed via the Bose Soundtouch. In the kitchen you will find equipment from Le Creuset and Laguiole, Ittala, DuTZ, Artemide, etc. If you get thirsty, there is a JURA fully automatic coffee machine available in the kitchen, as well as a water soda maker from Aarke. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a microwave, cooking pots, frying pans, (wine) glasses, bottle openers, etc. There are two beautifully furnished bedrooms; one of which has its own Nespresso machine for your first coffee in the morning. A large wardrobe is available for the cloakroom (3m wide, 2m high). The shower room (with toilet) on the ground floor is small but nice. Another toilet can be reached through the garden level. A washing machine/dryer and ironing board/iron are available free of charge. Vacuum cleaners, cleaning/dishwashing liquids, etc. are also accessible. High speed WiFi with 50 Mbit/s download. Streaming & satellite television, 1 flat screen (43 inches) in the living room, 1 flat screen (55 inches) in the bedroom. Towels and bed linen are available and the beds are made. The house is "ready to use". An optional interim cleaning is offered for 100 euros per cleaning.
We lovingly renovated the house in 2021, so that in 2022 it was awarded the monument plaque by the state of Hesse, which you can discover outside the house.

Many of our guests hike, cycle or motorbike in the area. A trip to beautiful Marburg, not far away, with its historic, lively old town and beautiful restaurants is also very popular.
Siegbach is a small town with a doctor, dentist, supermarket, ATM, restaurant, natural outdoor swimming pool and the thermal baths in Bad Endbach. Nestled in the romantic Lahn-Dill mountains, it is the ideal starting point for hikes and picnics in the premium hiking park right outside the door or for nice hours at the nearby Aartalsee. Bikers also feel right at home here. The half-timbered towns of Marburg & Herborn invite you to visit, and Frankfurt can be reached quickly by train or car.
There are several parking spaces available on and around the property. The bus stop is 50 meters from the house and will take you quickly to the nearby train station in Herborn.
