The apartment is on the 1st floor of our house and can be reached via an external staircase. It covers approx. 45m² and consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a bathtub and a living room with a kitchenette. The couch in the living room can be used as a sofa bed. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cater for yourself (stove, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave with oven function, coffee maker). You can buy the food, for example, directly from the farmers in our neighborhood, or in Trixi's village market, where a lot of emphasis is placed on regional products and plastic-free shopping.
The community of Stanz has already been shown in the cinema ("Rettet das Dorf") and several times on ORF, as a model community in terms of regionality and sustainability. You can rent e-bikes from the municipality with which you cycle down the Stanzer Sonnenweg. The hiking trail is 9.3 km long and leads along forests and meadows. On the circular hiking trail, hikers will find cultural treasures such as the Rauchkuchl and Schauschmiede, Schaumühle, Ulrichskirche and the forest chapel. In the "Kost-Nix Laden" you can see something for you. The place has numerous inns with traditional Austrian cuisine.
My personal favorite place is the Stanzer pond. A natural pond only 1 km away from your accommodation, with a spacious children's playground, framed by ancient, mighty trees, with almost tame carp that like to be fed * g * Get up in the morning, jog to the pond, swim a lap and the day can start;)
Our donkey stable is located 4km from the house in an idyllic natural setting, where I am happy to take you if you are interested.
