The house is exactly as described, very comfortable and well equipped with wonderful views and super quick access to a beautiful, private bathing spot. The swimming is off rocks so not for anyone who wants sandy beaches. You do need a car, as there isn’t much close by, although you can walk to a simple but very nice taverna.
They can also sell you bread and fish. Eleni was very generous in what she provided for us on arrival and very helpful with tips and information. Not for those seeking nightlife and buzz, but for anyone seeking peace, beauty and quiet, paradise!
Although further away from the house is a small harbor with a small beach, the house has its own swimming area (occasionally shared by tenants of the neighboring house) of the same owner. (Possibility to rent the two houses of 2 families of friends to have the exclusivity of the whole place ..)
In fact, we built the slope of the rocks from the house to the sea with small terraces, flowered plants and vineyards, and we reach them Sea level or we have created a private space for swimming (even naked) with sun loungers and umbrellas. In the village there are 2 tavernas with fish of the day and local recipes. At 9 km there are supermarkets, ATMs, bakery etc. Is a really great place, with a terrace overlooking the bay.
