The natural stone villa is located on the outskirts of the small village of Gerani, about 1 km as the crow flies from the sea near Rethymnon. The approx. 100 square meter house stands on a approx. 4500 square meter property, from everywhere you have a fantastic view of the sea! The villa is suitable for up to 6+1 people. It is equipped with every comfort - traditional architectural style and modern, comfortable furnishings are stylishly combined. Equipped with air conditioning in every room and underfloor heating only in the bathrooms , WiFi without data limits.
On the ground floor there is the fully equipped kitchen with dining area and the living room (with direct access to the large terrace/pool area), as well as a daylight bathroom with shower and a bedroom with two single beds (with direct access to the large terrace/pool area). On the first floor there are two more double bedrooms and a daylight bathroom with shower. One bedroom has a roof terrace with stone columns and a pergola and a wonderful view of the sea.
The bedrooms and the living room have shutters and mosquito nets.
The garden is planted with native plants and palm trees. The tiled pool measures approx. 8x4 m. Around the pool (heatable) is a large tiled sun terrace. From here you have an excellent view of the sea and Gerani. At the pool terrace there is a brick barbecue, outdoor shower (with cold & warm water), comfortable sun loungers with parasols, and various seating areas equipped with comfortable furniture. A covered outdoor kitchen with bar counter and bar stools, as well as a mini fridge and a cozy seating area is the special highlight!

There is a television in each bedroom and in the living room. Internet with WiFi without data limitation, underfloor heating in the bathrooms, air conditioning, car parking space, small library, safe... Sea view almost throughout the house and everywhere on the terrace, roof terrace, small outdoor kitchen....
The villa is cleaned with a change of towels and bed linen once a week, or twice on request.

Part of the property is natural. A stone staircase takes you to the lower part of the property. There are plenty of local herbs etc. You have a wonderful view over the sea to the Akrotiri Peninsula.
Our friend Katarina offers inexpensive Bowtech (pain therapy), massages, yoga teacher in the villa, in-villa dining (own chef) everything can be organized.
At a distance of approx. 700 m lies the old Cretan village Gerani. There are several supermarkets, taverns, kafenion, a baker, butcher ... Ca. 500 m away is the sea.
Rethymnon which is approximately 7 km away with its old town is probably the most beautiful city in Crete. Visit the many attractions in the vicinity.
In early 2011, the villa was equipped with a large brick outdoor barbecue, a large outdoor wellness area with pergola, fridge, wicker .... This lounge area is covered by a pergola.
From September 2013 Villa Helena has a heated pool!
Most German airports fly daily to several airlines Heraklion or Chania. From Chania airport it is about 60 km, from Heraklion about 85 km to the villa.
