"Mit unseren drei Kindern haben wir in dem verwunschen gelegenen Ferienhaus der Familie Piegeler eine herrlich entspannte Woche verbracht. Das Haus bietet allen Komfort, ist bestens eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Überdies ist es ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung Cornwalls: Die Bahnlinie von Looe nach Liskeard liegt nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt, in unmittelbarer Nähe findet sich ein Weingut und die Küste mit ihren malerischen Ortschaften und den berühmten Wanderwegen ist gut erreichbar. Die Vermieter, die gleichermaßen englisch und deutsch sprechen, haben uns herzlichst aufgenommen und standen uns während des Aufenthaltes mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Insgesamt sind uns die Tage in bester Erinnerung."
"We had a wonderful time at Tides. It was a beautiful large apartment, with a big spacious lounge and very large up to date kitchen area, very well equipped. It has wonderful views overlooking beach and harbour and a short walk to a lovely friendly pub and eating places. Newquay is pretty central to other areas in Cornwall and a must visit, if you can to the Minack Theatre which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. We hope to visit again in the near future."

"Nice cottage with comfortable beds but beware if you are tall. There are a couple of low doorways and the light fitting over the table is low. My husband bumped his head on it several times. Also the details state off road parking for a small car. This is not an exaggeration. We have a Ford Puma which only just fitted on with a lot of manoeuvring otherwise a really pleasant cottage and a nice stay."
