Cancellation policy
In the event of a guest's cancellation after the signed rental agreement has been sent and the deposit has been transferred, the following policy applies:
The deposit will only be refunded if the guest or I find a suitable replacement tenant.
The same applies to the full amount if the cancellation of the rental agreement occurs 4 weeks or less before the start of the occupancy, and a re-letting cannot be carried out in time in accordance with the duty to mitigate damages.
To avoid any problems, I recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, for example with ADAC.

Other recreational opportunities
Located right on the water, all water sports naturally take center stage. Hiking, experiencing nature, and cycling on an adventurous network of hiking and cycling trails (bike/hiking map) offer a wealth of impressions from the sea and the evergreen islands of Pasman and Ugljan. Boat trips, for example to the Kornati, are plentifully available.
Holiday destination
The house is situated on the SW side of the island of Pasman, on the southwest slope of a hill populated with Croatian holiday homes. It offers a breathtaking view of the sea, the surrounding islands, the "Kornati Islands" National Park, which lies southwest of Pasman, as well as the famous "Long Island" resting about 15km in front of us.
Directly in front of us, the sea spreads out, turquoise blue, with high water quality. The "Sretni Canal (Happy Channel)," as this stretch of sea is called, is bordered on the opposite side by the "Long Island (Dugi Otok)" and to the south, within sight, it merges into the National Park of the "Kornatis."
There are no industrial or other impairments.
We also do not experience Bura (the downdraft wind from the mountains), as we are in the wind shadow.
In our garden, ending with a stone cliff by the beach, native Mediterranean plants flourish alongside olive trees.
Not far behind the house starts the panoramic path, offering magnificent views over the archipelago.
Getting there
You can arrive (detailed directions provided upon booking)
by car, in Croatia via the Zagreb - Split motorway or the well-maintained coastal road to Zadar, then ferry to the island (ferries run hourly)
by plane to Zadar
by train to Rijeka, bus to Zadar

Host informationOur house is looked after by the young married couple Alen and Ana Halilovic, who were born and raised on the island, live nearby, are always on site, and as "real" islanders can provide answers and advice on any questions that arise.
Furthermore, upon booking, our guests receive our "Hints and Tips for Their Holiday," which contain all the essential information, from how to get there with routes and ferry schedules to shopping, dining, excursions, and much more, including health, illness, emergency - simply our collected knowledge and our recommendations from our many years of being rooted on the island.

Wenn man dann den höchsten Punkt der kleinen Anhöhe passiert hat, an dessen Fuß das Häuschen steht, traut man seinen Augen nicht. Die Lage des Hauses ist so schön, dass sich kein Künstler dieses Motiv hätte einfallen lassen können. Das Haus bietet alles, was man benötigt. Man merkt an allen Ecken, dass hier Menschen mit Sinn für Details und Praxis eingerichtet haben. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter wie auch zu den Ansprechpartnern vor Ort war herausragend und zuvorkommend. So etwas haben wir wirklich selten erlebt! Angereist mit zwei Kindern 3 und 9. der Kiesstrand am Ende des Gartens ist zwar etwas kühl, aber unsere Kids haben es genossen. Zu bedenken ist, dass Einkaufen etwa planungsbedürftig ist, was man auf einer Insel aber auch erwarten kann..Insgesamt aber ein fantastischer Urlaub.
