Holiday destination
The vicinity around the lake is perfect for relaxing and extended walks. In the nearby forest you'll find lots of edible mushrooms and berries. A miniature golf course, boat rental service and campsite are also located in close proximity. You'll also find two golf courses in the area: Golf-Club 'Ribbingfors' approx. 25 min. (9 holes) and Golf-Club 'Töreboda' approx. 30 min. (18 holes).
Getting there
By car:
Coming from Gothenburg (approx. 220 km): Take the E-20 towards Stockholm. Once you pass Mariestad, you'll reach the holiday home in about 30 minutes. Continue on the E-20; once you reach Hova, follow the road for another 15 minutes. Take the turn-off to Herrängen. You'll see an intersection that looks like a 'T', turn left and you'll see the lake in front of you! There's a farm on the right; make a left turn and another left onto a secluded forest road. The holiday home is situated at the end of that road.
By plane:
You can book a flight to Gothenburg or Stockholm and then rent a car at the airport.

Von Anfang an waren wir begeistert von der wunderbaren Lage des Hauses, die Lage im/am Wald und der wunderschöne Blick über den Skagern See.
Die direkte Umgebung war genauso schön und begeisternd (Spaziergänge, Jogging, Baden) wie die Tagesausflüge mit den herrlichen Wanderungen (Tiveden, Schärengarten im Vättern See, ...).
Das Haus war gemütlich und gut eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Vielen Dank an Frau Hacksteiner für die großzügige Behandlung während der Corona-Zeit und auch an Börje, die theoretisch vor Ort immer da war.

Ein wunderbar gemütliches und sehr gepflegtes Haus in absolut ruhiger Lage mit einem tollen Garten und Blick auf den See. Die Ausstattung ist umfangreich, die Betreuung durch Frau Hacksteiner und vor Ort sehr angenehm. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft sowohl für Ruhesuchende als auch Familien mit kleinen Kindern uneingeschränkt weiter.
