Holiday destination
The holiday home is located on the edge of the Schlern Nature Park, nestled in greenery, a 10-minute walk from the village and 15 minutes on foot from the Völser Weiher swimming lake. It is a magnificent starting point for hikes and strolls or trekking tours in the Dolomites. The Seiser Alm ski area has over 24 lifts (60 km of slopes) and is the largest high-altitude alpine meadow in Europe, or you can opt for the 'Dolomiti Superski pass' (which includes 360 lifts and 1200 km of slopes).
Getting there
Directions: Take the Bozen Nord exit from the highway; then head towards Brenner; after about 3 km, you will reach a village (Blumau); immediately after this village, take the left tunnel (100m) towards the Schlern area; a winding road will take you up to the plateau (about 8 km) and you will arrive in Völs am Schlern; at the roundabout, take the first road to the right towards Obervöls (green zone); after about 700m at a narrow crossroads, turn left; and you have arrived at Platzerhof.

Im August haben wir unseren Urlaub auf dem Platzerhof verbracht. Die Kinder konnten in der Scheune toben. Leichte und schwere Wanderungen gibt es Zuhauf. Wir ließen uns die frische Milch aus dem Kuhstall schmecken. Fürsorgliche Betreuung durch Familie Federer gibt es obendrein. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Urlaub war sehr schön. Die Kinder konnten im Kuhstall zuschauen. Es gab jeden Tag frische Milch und wir durften Lucy, das kleine Miezekätzchen mitnehmen. Der Ort ist sehr beschaulich und der Busshuttle hat uns gut voran gebracht. Die Bergwanderungen waren für alle geeignet und das Wetter passte. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt.
