New! VW Beetle rental for just 169 used for 5 days (includes insurance, Milage, Cel phone) Villa Maya de Cancun is a cosy Mexican style airconditioned home in a quiet residential area in Cancun city. It’s ideal for families, couples or single travellers, that want to enjoy and discover the beaches of Cancun and the Mayan Riviera and explore the wonders of the Yucatan from a central location, away from the big Hotels where all the tourists are.

Villa Maya de Cancun is a 2 level private house, fully furnished and equipped with 2 bedrooms, 2 complete bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, garden with direct access to park, private parking. Myself and my wife Gemima will receive you in Villa Maya de Cancun and give you an Orientation.

Great experience!
Lovely home and location.
Mattias and his lovely wife will make sure your every need is met. Expect a quick reply to emails and they live about 5 minutes away.

There is an additional charge for air conditioning. We didn't need it in March but nice to know it's there if you need it.
There is a Walmart and a Costco in the area.
We enjoyed the VW we rented even though it didn't have a/c, radio, or cigarette lighter for our GPS. We felt like a local driving around with local plates.
Chichen Itza is very nice but you are not allowed to climb it anymore so we went to Ek Balam which we thoroughly enjoyed.
All the people we met were so helpful so come and enjoy...Don't worry...be happy. :)

Me and my friends stayed at Villa Maya de Cancun for one week during Spring Break. We didn´t want to pay too much for a hotel, as we knew we would be out exploring or on the beach most of the time. For that reason we chose Villa Maya, because of it´s excellent value for money and it´s central location. Getting around was easy. There is a bus stop just around the corner that will take you right to the hotel zone. A taxi to the hotel zone will cost around 100 pesos.

As for the Villa itself, we found it to be very comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Matthias was very helpful and we knew he was only a phone call away if we ever needed anything. I would recommend this place to families and groups of friends.

Wir hatten beide Wohnungen genommen, das Haus war für uns sechs Personen fast zu groß.
Auch kommt man mit dem Taxi gut weg. Gut auch, dass im Haus kostenlos ein WLan Netz zur Verfügung stand.
Die Gegend ist ruhig, zum Thema Sicherheit haben wir nicht anders gelebt wie zuhause.
Wir hatten immer ein sicheres Gefühl. Das Viertel ist auch nachts angenehm ruhig.
Sehr profitiert haben wir von Empfehlungen von Mattias der die Gegend sehr gut kennt.. Es gibt auch viele Restaurants, zu günstigen Preisen. Gekocht haben wir daher fast nie.
Schade, dass die drei Wochen doch so schnell rum waren. Die Unterstützung von Mattias vor Ort war schnell und unkompliziert.

Die Bilder entsprechen den Gegebenheiten.
Für Individualurlauber auch mit Kindern nur zu empfehlen.
