Cancellation policy
If the stay is not possible due to government-imposed coronavirus restrictions, cancellation is free of charge up to three days before the arrival date. Your deposit will be refunded.
If coronavirus restrictions are no longer in effect during your planned stay, the usual cancellation conditions apply:
Cancellation is free one month before arrival.
For cancellations up to 2 weeks prior to arrival, the fee is 50% of the total agreed rate.
Please be aware that if you arrive more than one week late or depart earlier than scheduled, you will be charged the full price of your trip.
Sometimes things turn out differently than you had expected: the holiday you booked cannot be started or must be interrupted early. Therefore, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

Well-kept holiday home in Waldhessen, ideal for up to 5 (max. 6) people, almost 100 square metres. 1 bedroom. Very nicely furnished, washing machine, tumble dryer, kitchen, fully equipped with dishes, electric stove, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator...
Special features
At ground level, with blinds on all windows, some are electric. Fireplace, fly screens in bedroom.
On request, we can provide you with a 70x140 cm baby bed and a highchair free of charge.

Holiday destination
The house is centrally located, all shopping facilities and the old town are within easy walking distance.
Sontra is surrounded by woods, meadows and fields. Ideal for hikes, many premium hiking trails, bike tours, excursions in the surrounding area, e.g. Hoher Meißner, Thuringian Forest, Grenzmuseum Schifflersgrund, Grube Gustav, and much more. Sontra has a historic old town with half-timbered houses, a very nice outdoor pool, opportunities to go horseback riding, fishing, mini golf.
Getting there
Sontra is centrally located on the B27 between Eschwege and Bad Hersfeld. Coming from the south on the A7 take the Bad Hersfeld exit, then continue on the B27 to Sontra. Coming from the north on the A7 to Friedland, then towards Eschwege, continue on the B27 to Sontra. Coming from the west as far as Kassel, then continue on the B7 to Sontra. Coming from the east on the A4 until shortly after Eisenach take the Sontra exit, then continue on the B400 until Sontra.

Wir haben wieder einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub in der
Ferienwohnung Rosengarten verbracht. Wie auch beim ersten mal war
die Wohnung tip top. Sontra und die Fewo Rosengarten sind der
ideale Standort für Touren in die Umgebung. Die vorhandenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten
(Edeka / Lidl / Bäckerei / Rossmann) sind sehr gut.
Die stets freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter runden das optimale Gesamtbild ab.
Schöne Grüße auch an Wanja & Barnie. Hera und Skadi waren begeistert.
