Holiday destination
Gamburg, with its immediate location on the Tauber, the well-preserved and accessible medieval castle, museum and church is a pearl of the Tauber Valley. The train station is still working, several times a day drives the regional Westfrankenbahn between Wertheim and Lauda, the last stops at half past ten. The nearest neighbor is the monastery Bronnbach with its diverse cultural offers; the next - worth seeing - cities are Wertheim and Tauberbischofsheim.

Wer macht in einem Bahnhof Urlaub? - Wir!
Kurzfazit - beeindruckend, liebevoll, mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl restauriert, sehr sauber, viel Platz für alle, sehr nette Gastgeber, tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, gerne wieder.
Wir wurden vom Gastgeber nett empfangen und bekamen eine umfangreiche Einführung in "unseren Bahnhof" für die kommenden Tage inkl. Geschichte und bauliche Besonderheiten. Anreise mit der Bahn sollte kein Problem sein - Zug hält vor der Haustür. Die Ausstattung ist ,insbesondere in der Küche, sehr umfangreich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet . Auch unsere Hunde waren willkommen. Umgebung lädt zum Wandern und Radeln ein, unbedingt eine Burgführung einplanen. Badestelle direkt über die Straße, kleiner Garten am Haus. Es lohnt sich.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, sehr hilfreiche und zuvorkommende Vermieter, nette Ausflüge in hübsche Örtchen in der Umgebung möglich, sogar Wasserfahrzeuge waren vorhanden für eine gemütliche Tour mit dem Stand-Up-Paddle auf der Tauber
