Cancellation policy
If a contract is cancelled, the following charges will be billed by Rentals Egmond:
the owed fee plus:
if cancelled up to the 42nd calendar day (exclusive) before the arrival date: the deposit;
if cancelled from the 42nd calendar day (inclusive) up to the 28th calendar day (exclusive) before the arrival date: 60% of the gross rental price;
if cancelled from the 28th calendar day (inclusive) up to the arrival date: 90% of the gross rental price;
if cancelled on the arrival date or later: the full gross rental price;
if cancelled during the stay: the full gross rental price including all surcharges.

The village was originally a fishing village but has increasingly been shaped by tourism since the beginning of the last century. Egmond aan Zee has an 8-kilometer-long sandy beach and is therefore especially popular with families. The lighthouse of Egmond, named Jan van Speyk, offers a particularly beautiful sight. In the surrounding area, one can find the castle chapel, ruins, and the abbey. Speijck, the narrow streets, the allotment gardens in the dunes, all combined with the many beautiful, smaller, and slightly larger shops in the Voorstraat. Getting there
From Germany, take the A12 towards Arnhem, Utrecht.
At Utrecht, take the A2 towards Amsterdam.
After about 25 km, take the A9 towards Amstelveen and then after 20 km continue on the A9 towards Alkmaar.
Then take the Alkmaar/Heiloo exit, 3/4 roundabout towards Heiloo and then Egmond. Continue following the signs to Egmond aan Zee.
Drive past "Strand Zuid" Kennedy Boulevard by the sea.
