COVID-19 Cancellation Policies
For all those who have booked and cannot start their trip because of Covid, we grant a voucher (credit) for the amount already paid. This voucher can be applied to your next booking. This also applies to new bookings in case that a similar situation should arise again. Furthermore, we will pay attention to the greatest hygiene so that you can spend your vacation safely with us.
In case of cancellation the security deposit amount will be returned to the customer. However, we will charge a percentage of the amount of the stay as follows:
TIME CHARGE
Up to 90 days before 5 % of the stay
From 90 to 60 days before 20 % of the stay
From 60 to 45 days before 50 % of the stay
From 45 to 30 days before 75 % of the stay
If the cancellation is made with less than 30 days notice or in case of no-show we will charge the total amount of the stay. Cancellations must be presented in written form (info@holiday-residence.net) and are valid only after confirmation by the Residence. In any case if you are going to cancel your trip you would have to pay an administrative fee of € 100. If you decide to depart earlier then what you booked, then we will still charge the full planned stay. we advise to book a travel cancellation insurance.

Our sandy beaches are not crowded even in high season. In addition, the Golf of Orosei is one of cleanest and prettiest in Italy. Other leisure activities: trekking, cycling, climbing, quads, scuba diving, boat trips, excursions for those interested in archeology, canoeing, expeditions into the hinterland of the Island, wine tasting etc
Holiday destination
Orosei is located along the Sardinian eastern coast on the homonymus Gulf and about an hour’s drive from Olbia. The residence is approximately 1.5 kilometer away from the main beach, which is 8 km long. The beach can be reached in a twenty min. walk on a beatiful way which follows the river cedrino.
Several pizzerias and restaurants, cafes, shops and boutiques can be reached on foot within a few minutes from the Residence, and make the stay pleasant for those who do not want to give up the pleasures of shopping.
Getting there
To the airport Olbia with Airberlin, Easyjet, Intersky, Swiss, Meridiana and many more.
Ferries: Moby from Genua and Livorno, Corsica Sardegna ferries from Livorno, Tirrenia ferries from Genua and Civitavecchia (Rome).
Car rental: Billiger-Mietwagen, Europcar, Rentalcars and many more.
Travel by bus: from june to september there are many direct bus connections from Olbia to Orosei a day. The bus stop is around 500 meters away from the Residence. The rest of the year there is one bus connection from the port Olbia in the morning and at 14 o'clock from the airport Olbia.
If desired it is possible to let us pick you up at the Airport or port in Olbia. The price is 70 Euro for 1-2 people and 120 for 3-4 people.

Host informationThe owners and managers of the Holiday Residence Rifugio are the Swiss couple Matthias and Irene Winkler. They live in Orosei, Sardinia, since August 2001. It is very important to them and their team, son Raffael daughter Tatjana and staff Giulia, that their guests experience an unforgettable and pleasant vacation.

Appartamento meraviglioso: ampia camera da letto matrimoniale con armadi spaziosi, 1 tripla, stanza lavanderia con lavatrice e tutto l'immaginabile per il bucato!Ogni stanza dispone di balcone. Al piano superiore: guardaroba, appendipanni a muro e armadi portascarpe, 1 grande cucina con spazio soggiorno, sala pranzo,tv satellitare e balcone, dal quale si raggiunge una terrazza rialzata e coperta fornita di barbecue a gas, piano cottura e lavello. La terrazza offre una vista suggestiva su uliveti e pinete.Ogni stanza dispone di condizionatore.Il residence offre anche una piccola piscina in comune con un'altra struttura.Il servizio della famiglia Winkler è ottimo.Ogni nostra richiesta ha ricevuto risposta anche fuori dall'orario di reception.In particolare Raffael è sempre presente, disponibile e cortesissimo.
