    Mount Earl is situated a quarter of a mile from the nearest public lane, offering a high degree of privacy and seclusion.Set within 32 acres of private woodland/heath nature lovers can enjoy the unusual flora and fauna. Recently, the woodland has revealed the ruins of an ancient mill close to the pretty Downas stream.It is only a 20 minute rugged walk to an unspoilt secluded cove where seals and basking sharks have been spotted. The south west coast path is close by, incorporating the breathtaking vantage point of Black Head and far reaching views towards England's most southerly point. The pretty fishing village of Coverack is approx. 2 miles away, where there is a lovely sandy beach, village shops, cafes and pub serving local seafood.
    Getting there
    Approaching Helston follow Lizard sign A3083. Pass Cudrose Airbase. At roundabout turn left to Coverack/ St. Keverne on B3293. Pass Goonhilly Earth Station. At Zoar garage turn right. Go across downs for approx. 1 mile.Take second track on right signposted to Mount Earl. Cottage is 500m down lane.

    Wir habe zwei wundervolle Wochen in Coverack und Umgebung verbracht! Viele interessante Ziele und Strände sind sehr gut von dort zu erreichen. Gleichzeitig haben wir die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit von Mount Earl sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Garten ein kleiner Traum. Nicht nur die Kinder haben besonders die Ausflüge runter einsamen Badebucht geliebt. Und selbst den einzigen Regentag konnten wir lesend im schönen Wintergarten genießen. Mike und Sue haben wir als sehr herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber erlebt. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

    Unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Die Zentralheizung ist an kalten Tagen Gold wert. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Umgebung rund um den Lizard Point ist sehr schön. Obwohl das Haus scheinbar so abgelegen liegt, sind sehr viele Ziele gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Den wunderschönen Garten hätten wir gerne mit nach Hause genommen...! Die Vermieter Mike und Sue sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
