Host's notes
Cancellation policy
The holiday home is firmly rented out to the named tenants. If the tenants do not commence their journey, for whatever reasons, the deposit is forfeited to the landlord.
If the tenants cancel the trip up to one month before the start of the rental period, the landlords will try to rent the holiday home to other interested parties. If successful, they will refund 70% of the deposit to the tenant. If they cannot rent out the property, the tenant is obliged to pay the full rental fee.
In the event of cancellation less than one month before the start of the rental period, the deposit is forfeited. The landlords will attempt to rent out the property. If they are able to rent it out, the remaining payment will not be required. If they are unable to rent out the property, the tenant must make the remaining payment.
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Den Helder boasts a train station and the ferry to Texel, the Naval Museum, the Sea Aquarium, the theme park Cape Holland, and the fortress Fort Kijkduin.
In Callantsoog, you'll find the nature reserve Zwanenwater. Alkmaar charms with its beautiful old town and the famous cheese market. Nearby, there's a bicycle rental service (about 300m away).
Holiday destination
South of Den Helder lies the quaint village of Julianadorp aan Zee. The bungalow park 'De Zandloper' is located right behind the dunes. The beautiful, miles-long, bright sandy beach is about 600 meters away. The charming beach pavilions invite you to linger.
Directly at the park, there is a canoe canal with a landing stage.
In spring, Julianadorp impresses with its pretty, colorful flower fields.
Golfers can enjoy the golf course in Julianadorp (about 1 km away).
Getting there
Car: From the Cologne area, approximately a 3 - 3.5-hour drive. Take the A3 motorway towards Arnhem, then in Holland A12 Arnhem to Utrecht. Switch to the A2 towards Amsterdam, then A9 towards Schiphol Airport, continue until Alkmaar.
Take the N9 towards Den Helder along the Noord Holland Canal until Julianadorp-Zuid. From there, follow the signs for "Kustrecreatie" until you reach the dunes, then turn right and follow the Dune Road for about 3 km. Then turn right towards Julianadorp onto Van Foreestweg. The manager Siem Komen lives at Van Foreestweg 5 (5th house on the left side). This is also where you will receive the key.
Train: Take the train to Den Helder (Zuid or Centraal) - Taxi to "De Zandloper".

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in dem gemütlichen Häuschen . Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, einfach ein Wohlfühlort zum entspannen. Auch der große schöne eingezäunte Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Haben hier schon ein paar mal unsere Ferien verbracht . Im Wohnnzimmer sind jetzt auch an den grossen Fenstern Rollläden , was ich abends persönlich ganz angenehm finde .
Freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub hier.

Das Haus hat leider seine besten Zeiten gehabt.
Ewig schade darum senn ursprünglich war es nicht zu toppen.
Die Küche ist überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind gut. Es gibt eine toll funktionierende Waschmaschine, eine Spülmaschine. Das Haus ist hell und rihig gelegen. Das war es er leider auch.
Es modert extrem, das Nad ist schimmlig, die Couch brutalst durchgesessen.
Leider musstbich unsere kompletten Klamotten 2x durchwaschen, bis ich diesen Schimmelgeruch aus der Wäsche hatte.
Uns ist dann, am letzten Tag, noch die Warmwasserversorgung ausgefallen....
Fazit: Ein wirklich tolles Haus, wenn nicht der Schimmel, Gestank und die durchgesessene Couch wäre.
Der Garten war top und komplett umzäunt.
Recht viel mehr Lob geht leider nicht.
