Holiday destination
The famous Rheinsteig hiking track, the chairlift and the Niederwald Park are very close. The village has some restaurants, a bakery and a butcher. Rudesheim am Rhein can be reached easily as well as the romantic World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley with its many castles and wine villages. In Rudesheim am Rhein there are many restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets.
Getting there
Via A66 from Frankfurt/Main passing Wiesbaden onto B42 destination Rüdesheim am Rhein. Then follow the B42 towards Koblenz to Assmannshausen. Via A61 from Köln/Koblenz or the A61 from Alzey/Speyer destination Bingen am Rhein. There you have to take the car Ferry (please consider the timetable!). Then follow the B42 towards Koblenz to Assmannshausen. Via B42 from Koblenz to Assmannshausen.

Die Wohnung ist modern, perfekt in der Ausstattung - und mit viel Liebe zum Detail - eingerichtet. Vor Ort waren die Tipps von Frau Bohn äußerst hilfreich und der gespendete Kuchen und Wein haben ebenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt. Unsere E-Bikes konnten in einer verschlossenen Garage untergebracht werden. Das Auto wurde an der sehr wenig befahrenen Straße geparkt. Die Wohnung liegt etwa 20 Minuten ( zu Fuß ) bergaufwärts von Assmanshausen, für Fahrradfahrer bei Steigungen zwischen 13 und 17 % schon eine echte sportliche Herausforderung. Als Verdauungsspaziergang nach einem Essen in den zahlreichen und oft guten Restaurants aber vielleicht doch empfehlen.
