Holiday destination
Dangast, a part district of Varel, lies between Wilhelmshaven in the north and Oldenburg in the south. Many artists were and still are at home in the oldest North Sea resort. Its tranquil atmosphere, the mild, bracing air and its unique location in a wooded hill make the place a popular holiday destination. Refuel with a view of the Jade Bay with coffee and rhubarb cake in the legendary old Kurhaus run by the Tapken family.
Getting there
You approach the "Godewind" holiday home as follows: take the motorway via Oldenburg (A29) at the exit Varel/Bockhorn and follow the signs to Dangast. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right into "Auf der Gast". Shortly before the dike line you will find your parking space in front of the row of houses with the number 27.
