Hiking, Mountainbiking, Moto-Cross... Botanists and Mineral hunter have excellent conditions on Elba. Archery Equipment can be used. Very good basecamp for acitvities above in winter, spring and late autum due to good heating of the house.
Holiday destination
The house is surrounded by the “Parco Nazionale Arcipelago Toscano”. The Monte Calamita in the back is excellent hiking and mountain bike area. In about 10 minutes by car, Capoliveri offers shopping and restaurants. Portoferraio is about ½ h drive. Down to the beach with summer-restaurants it takes 10 minutes walk. The Garden Elisio has Botanic History of centuries and 49+ years of custody and irrigation
Getting there
English: Please take the road from Capoliveri to Innamorata, about 4 km. Once on the parking area at the beach, there are 3 roads: The one you came, one paved road up the hill to Calone and a unpaved earth-road leading to a big parking area. THIS is your path to Casa Elisio, which is about 1 km up the hill. Passing the parking area, the earth-road winds up the hill. At some point the road leads to Casa Serena. You keep going uphill for 2 more "U-turns". Sourrounded by many trees Casa Elisios driveway is guarded by 2 stone lions. Your shadow parking is waiting for you under the pine tree.

Der Aufenthalt im Casa Elisio war rundum perfekt und die Wohnung verdient es, unter "Traum-Ferienwohnungen" aufgeführt zu sein. Angefangen von der unbezahlbaren Aussicht über die super ausgestattete Wohnung, die Ruhe, die sehr angenehme und zuvorkommende Betreuung vor Ort bis schliesslich hin zum perfekten (heissen) Wetter waren es Traum Ferien, die wir hier verbringen durften. Nicht zu vergessen der äusserst angenehme Kontakt zum Vermieter in Deutschland. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir verbrachten erstmalig unsere Herbstferien auf Elba. Wandern bei angenehmen Temperaturen standen für mich und meinen Hund Milo im Vordergrund unserer Reise. Mutig muss man sein, wenn man zum ersten Mal die enge und unbefestigte Straße zum Haus erklimmt . Belohnt wurden wir dafür mit einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer und die Insel. Romantische Sonnenaufgang- und untergänge sind garantiert. Das Haus Casa Elisio verspricht nicht Zuviel, denn es ist großzügig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr komfortabel ausgestattet. Der große Garten lädt zum entdecken und verweilen ein. Besonders in Erinnerung werden mir die herzlichen Begegnungen mit der Schwester des Vermieters bleiben. Viele Wanderwege bieten sich an, die Gegend um Capoliveri zu erkunden.
