Holiday destination
In geographical terms we are on a hill to the west of the Rheintal valley at the entrance to the Vordereifel region. The Ahrtal valley, home to the famous red wine, starts only 6 km from here. Almost on our doorstep on a plateau is Mönchsheide, the home of the glider airfield. This is where you can go on long walks through the forests. Laacher See is about 17 km from here right at the heart of the Vulkaneifel region with Maria Laach Abbey which is always worth a visit.
