The detached 8½-room luxury villa "Villa Il Portico" (built in 2016) is located in a privileged and quiet panoramic position just above Suna on Monte Rosso, one of the sunniest spots on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore.
In total, the generous living space of approximately 410m² is spread over three levels and offers a lot of comfort and ample space with a roughly 50 m² living/dining room, a kitchen, six bedrooms, and six bathrooms. The entire ground floor is designed with arched windows. From both the interior and exterior, you enjoy an incredibly beautiful view of the lake, the mountains, and the Borromean Islands.
The T-shaped villa "Il Portico" was built in the typical country house style. In the longitudinal axis, there is a kind of pavilion with the main living room, the dominant architectural element. This part is connected to the main house by a corridor of arched windows.

Suna is of Roman origin, with its well-preserved medieval town center still bearing witness to a turbulent history. Here, you will find magnificent villas from various eras. The former seat of the municipal administration (Pallazzo Cioja) is one of the few architectural examples of a noble palace from the 16th century whose facade was not altered in the 18th century to match the style of the time. These villas are as much a defining feature of the town's appearance as the many lush, blooming gardens. The long lakeside promenade, with its inviting restaurants, cafes, and shops, enchants with its beautiful vegetation of magnolias and privet. A walk along the lake to the approximately 7 km distant Intra will be an unforgettable experience. Suna, Pallanza, and Intra merge into one another and have jointly formed the provincial capital of Verbania since 1939. Nearby Pallanza is home to the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto, covering a 20-hectare area with over 20,000 rare plant species from all continents.
