Cancellation policy
The holiday home is firmly rented out to the tenants. If the tenants do not commence their trip, for any reason, the landlord is entitled to the deposit. The landlord will attempt to rent out the holiday home to someone else. If re-renting is not successful, the tenants must pay 50% of the remaining payment, provided they cancel at least 6 weeks before the start of the trip. If the tenants cancel in the last 4 weeks before the rental period begins and another tenant cannot be found, then 100% of the remaining payment must be paid to the landlord (we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance).

Our holiday home is nestled in the midst of a unique cultural landscape. In addition to the seemingly endless fine sandy beaches, the IJsselmeer and cities such as Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Den Helder are wonderful excursion destinations. Most destinations can be reached within an hour by car or train.
Holiday destination
In the small holiday park, you can still find peace even during the peak season. In the park, the pool and playgrounds can be used free of charge. It's truly a paradise for children. During the season, there are ice cream, coffee, and snacks available. A path leads over a bridge by the adjacent fishing lake into the village, where you can enjoy a delicious draft beer and small meals at the Dorpshuis. Bike tours and hikes into the typical Dutch surroundings are possible right from the house.
Getting there
Head towards Amsterdam initially, then before Amsterdam switch to the A9 towards Schiphol, Haarlem, Amstelveen until Alkmaar. Then take the N245 towards Schagen until the turn-off to Sint Maarten.

Host informationSince 1999, we have had a house in this holiday park where our two children grew up spending their vacations on the Dutch North Sea coast, and now, as adults, they also enjoy coming back here for holidays. At the end of 2015, we purchased the house Anke and completely renovated it.

Sehr guter unkomplizierter und netter Kontakt und individuelle Schlüsselübergabe. Schönes Haus mit Garten und allem was man braucht. Gute Küchenausstattung, bequeme Betten. Besonders toll für die Jugend: gutes WLAN und Netflix :-) 2 Fahrräder im Schuppen zur Verfügung und sogar Vogelfutter vorrätig. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen , vielen Dank !
