Holiday destination
Located in Tuscany, on Elba, particularly known for the stay of Napoleon. Drout, the former General of Napoleon, lived in the house next door. Now this beautiful house "Casetta Drout" can be visited. You can also easily reach the fountain of Napoleon and taste the water. The main square in Poggio, a medieval village, is more of a terrace from which you can see the mainland.
Getting there
Elba is reached from Piombino. There you can find a ferry. You reach the island in an hour. At the port you need about 30 minutes by car to arrive in Poggio.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem ganz bezaubernden, ruhigem Bergdorf, abseits vom Trubel und doch zentral. Sie ist gut ausgestattet und wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Luisa ist tatsächlich eine wahre Perle.... schön, dich kennengelernt zu haben!

Durch Zufall fanden wir im Netz diese wunderbare Ferienwohnung. Schon auf Grund der Bilder freuten wir uns auf den Aufenthalt, aber es war es noch viel besser, die Bilder geben leider nicht wieder, wie toll die Wohung ist. ;-) Ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht! Abseits des Rummels, der weiter unten am Meer zu finden ist, haben wir uns mehr als wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist wirklich bestens ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den super freundlichen Kontakt zu Frau Pieri, die hervorragend Deutsch spricht. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen, wenn wir es schaffen, werden wir sehr gerne noch einmal in diese Wohnung kommen.
