Hohwacht is free of through traffic and mass tourism - an insider tip for peace-loving people who enjoy a natural environment. The beautiful kilometer-long sandy beach of Hohwacht Bay is 50 meters as the crow flies in front of your vacation home, access to the beach is 100 m to the right or left. Quaint restaurants, small snacks and bistros, the fish smokehouse, sailing school and mini golf course are all nearby. Supermarket, town center and small port are only a few minutes' walk away.
By train to Plön or Oldenburg. Regular buses run from here. By car via Lübeck - Oldenburg - Kaköhl to Hohwacht. Or via Kiel - Lütjenburg.

Dear guests, I grew up in Hohwacht and love this beautiful little Baltic Sea resort between Kiel and Fehmarn. My mother had already rented a small room with breakfast and family connection to holiday guests in 1952, later we had 25 rooms, at the end 10 beautiful holiday apartments on the beach path and on the cliffs. I inherited the apartment on the Hohe Ufer from my parents and I am happy to rent it out, also with the help of my sister Marianne Vogel, who continues the apartments on Strandweg. I am happy about people who come here again and again and enjoy their vacation in this little vacation spot in my apartment with a view of the sea. You are very welcome!
