Description

This beautiful holiday home with a garden is located on a hill near the village of Falaën. Thanks to its solar panels, you can fully enjoy an environmentally conscious holiday here with family or friends.

The accommodation is located in the heart of the Molignee valley, where you can enjoy numerous activities such as draisine (track bike), kayaking, hiking and cycling. Falaën is a small village known for its peaceful rural setting. It is also home to several charming farms where visitors can learn about traditional farming methods and taste local produce. The village has a rich history and is home to attractions such as St Martin's Church and Falaën Castle.

The interior is spacious and well cared for. Start the day with breakfast in the dining room while enjoying the stunning views of the valley. The colourful kitchen offers you the chance to prepare your favourite dishes and on the lovely terrace with barbecue you can enjoy a cosy summer evening.

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was Sie brauchen, die Lage ist herrlich und der Garten ist sehr weitläufig und komplett von Wald umgeben.
Leider sieht alles (außer der Küche) etwas veraltet aus. An einem Sommertag ist es in den oberen Schlafzimmern sehr heiß und die Wärme kann nur schwer abgeleitet werden. Das Schlafzimmer im Keller ist zwar sehr kühl, aber dadurch etwas feucht. Die Badezimmer und Waschbecken befinden sich in den Schlafzimmern und es gibt keine Türen zwischen dem Schlafzimmer und dem Badezimmer. Für größere Gruppen nicht sehr nützlich.
Außerdem gibt es in weiten Teilen des Hauses keine nennenswerten Vorhänge, wodurch es sehr schnell aufheizt.
Etwas enttäuscht waren wir von den Mehrkosten, die dieses Haus mit sich bringt: 30 € Abfallsteuer, 0,70 €/kWh (Tag) (und nicht 0,35 €, wie BelVilla angibt), Heizöl, Wasser, ... Insgesamt gab es solche ca. 150 Euro (in 1 Woche) an Zusatzkosten. Allerdings war es Sommer und wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 5 kleine Kinder. Wir hatten kaum gekocht und nicht erhitzt.
Die Kaution muss bei der Ankunft in bar bezahlt werden. Wir fragten, ob dies elektronisch erfolgen könne, was jedoch nicht möglich war. Der verbleibende Teil der Kaution kann plötzlich überwiesen werden, ohne dass Transparenz darüber besteht, wie dies berechnet wurde, und ohne dass eine Anfechtungsmöglichkeit besteht. Unserer Meinung nach war es dem sonst so freundlichen und korrekten Eigentümer vor allem darum gegangen, aus seinem Haus Profit zu schlagen.
