This traditional holiday home in Theux Ardennes has 4 bedrooms and can easily accommodate up to 8 people. The spacious layout makes it a wonderful place to stay for big family holidays with children. The house comes with an enclosed garden.

There are many attractions and activities in the area. The holiday home is only 3 km from the village centre of Theux and at walking distance from the forest. You can take lovely hiking and cycling trips from the house. Furthermore, the Plopsaland amusement park (16 km), the zoo in La Reid (7 km) and the Safari park of Aywaille (12 km) are perfect for a day out. You can enjoy the local delicacies at a restaurant 8 km away.

The house comes with a relaxation room including the sauna and bubble bath. In the evening, you and your group can enjoy a drink in the living room by the open fireplace.

Bei der Ankunft war das Haus gründlich gereinigt und die Fenster zum Lüften offen gelassen worden. Es war schön kühl, obwohl es warm und sonnig war. Leider hatten die offenen Fenster einige Fliegen und viele Mücken hereingelassen, wobei letztere meinen jüngsten Sohn oft gestochen haben. Danach ließen wir die Fenster geschlossen, stießen aber immer wieder auf sie. Das Haus würde von Fliegengittertüren sehr profitieren.

Das Haus war gut ausgestattet, es gab jede Menge Töpfe und Pfannen (die größte Bratpfanne könnte allerdings ersetzt werden), Teller, Tassen, Schüsseln und Besteck. Wir waren überrascht, eine Nestle Dolce Gusto neben einer normalen Kaffeemaschine und einem Wasserkocher zu finden. Das Sofa war bequem, hatte aber einige Gebrauchsspuren. Im Fernsehen gab es überwiegend französischsprachige Sender, aber auch ein paar flämische, niederländische, deutsche und britische Sender.

Die Schlafzimmer waren geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Matratzen waren in Ordnung, die Kissen für unseren Geschmack etwas zu dünn und weich. Der Unterhaltungsraum im Obergeschoss war einfach großartig für die Kinder, aber leider waren nur zwei oder drei DVD-Filme niederländisch, der Rest französisch und englisch. Das WLAN war ausreichend, mit Ausnahme der am weitesten entfernten Schlafzimmer gab es im größten Teil des Hauses Empfang. Upatairs Dusche war geräumig und komfortabel und hatte einen Fön.
