Cancellation policy
If the tenant cancels the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract on the same terms, the following proportional rents (excluding final cleaning) are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, provided that re-letting is not possible:
For cancellation
up to 49 days before the start of the rental: 20% of the rental price
up to 35 days before the start of the rental: 30% of the rental price
up to 21 days before the start of the rental: 60% of the rental price
up to 14 days before the start of the rental: 90% of the rental price
less than 14 days before the start of the rental: 100% of the rental price.
In any case, the landlord will attempt to re-let the holiday home.
a) If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.
b) A cancellation or termination can only be made in writing. The relevant date is the day the notice is received by the landlord.
Please check whether taking out travel cancellation insurance would be sensible for you.

Holiday destination
Our holiday home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the popular holiday park De Krim. The park includes a small supermarket, restaurants and snack bars, a hairdresser, and bike rental, as well as a variety of recreational facilities: foremost among them is the 18-hole dune golf course and (from summer 2017) a fun pool with four water slides and a toddler area, in addition to an indoor children's paradise and petting zoo, high ropes course and laser games, indoor mini-golf and bowling, pony riding and an artificial turf field, as well as several attractive children's playgrounds.
Getting there
Ferry: The crossing between Den Helder and Texel takes about 20 minutes. Departures from the mainland are usually on the half-hour throughout the year. During busy times, TESO ferries run more frequently. A complete overview of all crossings and expected waiting times can be found on the internet.
No reservations can be made for the ferry. All tickets are valid for the round trip. On the return journey (from Texel to Den Helder), there is no further check. Therefore, you do not need to show your ticket again on the return trip. For your GPS: The address of the ferry terminal is Havenplein 3, 1781 AB Den Helder.

Host informationFor over 10 years, we have been returning to Texel with our children time and again. In De Krim, we have realized our dream of having a 'personal' piece of Texel. We hope to contribute to a relaxing and stress-free holiday, especially for families with children, by providing little comforts such as a handcart, bicycles, an additional freezer and refrigerator, etc.

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bietet viel Platz für bis zu 6 Personen! Besonders gut hat uns die liebevolle Einrichtung gefallen.
Das Schwimmbad, der Indoorspielplatz und der Streichelzoo waren auch bei bescheidenem Wetter (wir waren im Dezember da) tolle Anlaufstellen für uns und unsere Kinder!
Es war ein perfekter Kurzurlaub!!!

Wir haben als 2 Familien mit 2 kleinen Kindern eine Woche in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Preis Leistung top! Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Ausstattung perfekt. Von Werkzeug für's Fahrrad, über Gewürze bis hin zur Taschenlampe war alles vorhanden. Der Ferienpark hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen, besonders im Indoor Spielplatz hatten die Kinder eine Menge Spaß. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war stets reibungslos und sehr freundlich. Wir sagen danke und "tot ziens"! :)
