Host informationEmile van den Bergh, a television director and interior designer, is the head chef and owner of Guesthouse & Apartments In de Aap, which he runs with heart and soul. Emile is a purist for whom authenticity is the standard. The "Trattoria di Casa del Monte" is the pride and joy of head chef Emile, and he cooks up a storm. Enjoying his Mediterranean dishes together is like oil for the bonds of friendship. Dining outside in the garden is also a wonderful experience. Siep van den Bergh, the son of the house, is now just as passionate, and for him, it is already clear that hotel management school will be his challenge. At In de Aap, good food is the focal point. Cooking events are therefore a fantastic addition and a true culinary experience. Sammie, the white shepherd dog, and Lightning, the red cat, are also integral to In de Aap. Sammie loves children and vice versa. Lightning is everyone's friend, and together they give the place a friendly and cozy atmosphere.
