Holiday destination
The bathing beaches of the Riviera delle Palme can be reached in 15 minutes, the Monti Sibilini (over 2000m) within an hour. Shopping/restaurants are nearby and abundant on the coast. "La Casa di Petra" is located on an east slope (270m asl) overlooking Ripatransone (478m), surrounded by grapevine slopes. The altitude and the coastal distance, ensures lower temperatures and humidity, better air and heavenly peace. Around 10% of the Marche are protected areas with sandy and pebble beaches, as well as cliffs and inland lakes. Worth seeing are cities like Ancona (ferry port city), San Benedetto del Tronto, (largest fishing port), Urbino, Ascoli Piceno and Macerata with museums, picture galleries and operas, as well as Loreto (place of pilgrimage).
Getting there
By train to San Benedetto del Tronto or Grottammare. Airports for commercial and budget flights are in Ancona, Pescara, Rom, Bologna. From the north, via A14 to Pedaso, on SS16 to Cupra Marittima and for 12 km on SP91 >> Carassai and then on the SP75 >>Ripatrasone. 1 km after passing the Cantina Colli Ripani "La Casa di Petra" is to be found. From Rome on the A24 to the A14; on the A14 >> Grottammare; exit the A14 >> Ripatransone on the Valtesino road(SP92); take 2nd exit at 13km uphill for 3.5km; turn left>>Cossignano and after 0.5km turn right>>Carassai. After 1,65 km "La Casa di Petra" to be found.

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung von Freunden mit großen Erwartungen. Diese wurden in allen Punkten weit übertroffen. Es gibt einfach Menschen, die passen perfekt ins Herz. Das trifft zu 100% auf Petra und Peter, die Gastgeber zu, die sowohl mit der komfortablen und liebevollen Einrichtung der Ferienwohnung, als auch mit Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft, keine Wünsche offen lassen. Sowohl das Appartement als auch die Umgebung bieten alles, was man für eine Auszeit vom Alltag braucht. Die Möglichkeiten sind vielfältig für Meer- und Bergliebhaber. Wo findet man das an einem Ort vereint? Es braucht Zeit, um alle diese wunderbaren Eindrücke zu verarbeiten! Wir kamen als Fremde und gingen als Freunde, die sehr gern wiederkommen! Leider waren wir nur sehr kurz hier, aber haben für nächstes Jahr schon gebucht. Der Aufenthalt ist für Ruhesuchende, Wanderfreunde (durch Weinberge und im Mittel- oder Hochgebirge) und Badefans (mit Auto 15 Min. zur Adria) zu empfehlen. Herrliches Klima zwischen Meer und Gebirge (400m hoch), tolle Lage mit herrlichem Blick. Auch sind die alten italienischen Städte z.B. Ripatransone, Ascoli Piceno und die Pilgerstätte Loreto oder auch das Muschelmuseum in Grottamare sehr interessant. Die Anfahrt von Deutschland über die Autobahn war sehr bequem. Nicht zu vergessen sind die hervorragenden Gastgeber, die im Nebenhaus wohnen und allen Fragen sehr aufgeschlossen waren. Die Ferienwohnung ist in topp Zustand, tolle Terasse, Garten mit Olivenbäumen. Alle Küchenutensilien vorhanden, 2 Toiletten, Dusche blitzsauber.
