This holiday home has been inspected and evaluated according to country-specific criteria. The award was given by a tourism organisation. Depending on the equipment and service, the accommodation is awarded one to five stars - from simple to first-class.
The 120m² apartment consists of two bedrooms with 4-5 beds, an ample bathroom (shower and bath tub), a kitchen and a living room-area of 40m2. If you stay with younger children, there are cribs and highchairs for babies in two different sizes available . The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, oven,
microwave, coffee machine (both for using filter and Nespresso capsules), fridge, dishwasher and enough dishes for 8 people.
A fireplace surrounded by a big cosy sofa build the centerpiece of the living room. The bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Stepping down from the living room to the generous terrace, equipped with an umbrella and four sunbeds, you enter the garden with barbecue grill and garden shower. The garden is for the use of apartment-residents only. There is a roofed car park and a shed, where you can lock your bikes or other equipment. Touristic highlites: With the car you can reach two capitals wit5hin 45 minuters: Vienna and Bratislava.

The Nationalpark Neusiedlersee is well known for his rich population of local or drawing through birds. In the surrounding meadowgrounds you can find one of the last occurences of the great bustard.
families like the nearby playground and the short distance to lake Neusiedl, the village museum and St. Martins-Therme, situated in distance of 6 km. It is one of the famoust middleeuropean windsurf- and kite spots. The "neusiedlerseeCard", a tourist card for free entries is included.
The aerea "Seewinkel" is a real paradise for cyclists: we have a lot of small roads between the wineyards. The region is famous for its wine, which can be tasted in locval wineries.
With the car: A4 Highway from Vienna direction hungary, exit Mönchhof and then 5 km normal road to Mönchhof.
With train: Allmost every hour from Vienna Hauptbahnhof directly to the station: Mönchhof-Halbturn.

Ich restauriere und vermiete seit 5 Jahren Ferienhäuser in Mönchhof. Dabei achte ich sehr darauf, den ursprünglichen Charakter der Häuser zu erhalten um etwas vom pannonischen Lebensgefühl zu vermitteln, das mich ursprünglich selbst als Tourist an dieser Gegend so fasziniert hat: Im Burgenland gehen die Uhren noch etwas langsamer.
