The old school in the historical center of Tetenbuell in the North Frisian countryside is a large holiday home with history, style and romantic surroundings in a quiet location. The holiday home "Old School Tetenbuell" was built on a warft in the romantic village Tetenbuell, in ca. 1860. The two refurbished and renovated apartments (2017) in the old school are particularly suitable for large families, for a multi-generational holidays as well as for group holidays of up to 13 people (max).

There are excellent cycling routes throughout the peninsula. Directly opposite the house there is a large playground with sandpit and cable car for kids.
The holiday home in Tetenbuell is located in the middle of the peninsula Eiderstedt, in the middle of the national park Wattenmeer in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein, world nature reserve and biosphere reserve of the UNESCO.
The Wattenmeer protection station offers walks and other events in Westerhever and in St. Peter Ording. In Tönning, 11 km from the old school in Tetenbuell, you will find the "Multimar Wattforum" an information center for the national park, see and feel the wadden sea in the exhibition and in guided tours. From Tetenbüll it is just 5 km to the bathing spots "Tetenbüll Spieker" or "Evershop Siel" in about 6 km distance. Both bathing areas are popular but not overcrowded, for example if St. Peter Ording becomes too turbulent. If you like sandy beaches you will fancy St. Peter Ording in about 18 km distance.
Coming on the B 202 from Tönung direction St. Peter Ording / Garding you drive into the village Katharinenheerd. Shortly after the sign, take the first right-hand exit towards Tetenbuell. As soon as you reach the village of Tetenbuell, follow the sign "Haus Peters" straight ahead. You pass the church (on the left) and there are parking spaces opposite the church. Here you can park safely, this is the "Old School Tetenbuell". Please use the large main entrance with the gable on the long side. Please do not use the small white garden gate.

The holiday-maker may at any time withdraw from the rental agreement. In the case of such a resignation, the landlord will claim a cancellation fee according to the following scale:

45 days before arrival 10% of the rent
44 - 33 days before arrival 30% of the rent
32 - 22 days before arrival 60% of the rent
21 - 12 days before arrival 80% of the rent
11 days before arrival - 90% of the rental price
The tenant has the right to provide a replacement tenant who will take over the holiday property in full. Nevertheless, we recommend a travel cancellation insurance.

We are happy to welcome you as a holiday guest in our old school. For Easter 2017, we stayed here with our two small children and fell in love with the building and the area. Finally we were able to buy it. We hope you like this place as well as we do!
