Holiday destination
Osburg is a real paradise for hikers. There are numerous award-winning hiking routes here, such as the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, Moselsteig and other dream loops and premium hiking trails. In addition, about half an hour's drive away is the Luxembourgish Mullerthal, which offers as many routes from short to 40km in length. As enthusiastic outdoor enthusiasts, we can give many tips from our own experience. Holidaymakers who like shopping and sightseeing will get their money's worth in Trier (20 km), Bernkastel-Kues (50 km), Saarbrücken (70 km) and Luxembourg (75 km). For wine lovers, a wine tasting in one of the beautiful Moselle towns or even better a visit to the local wine festivals (May to October) is a must! We also recommend the following activities / locations: - Biking or a boat trip on the Moselle - numerous wine festivals on the Moselle (calendar can be provided) - Triolago leisure center in Riol with bathing beach, mini golf, Segway course, toboggan run and water ski cable car - Geocaching in the forests around Osburg - Visit and tour of the Fell slate mine - Canoeing on a small border river between Germany and Luxembourg - Rock climbing on sandstone walls up to 36m high on the edge of the Mullerthals - The highest elevation of Rhineland-Palatinate: the Erbeskopf - ski slope in winter, hiking mountain in summer - Visit to the Riveris Dam Or just relax on the terrace while the dog runs wild in the garden. Ein schönes ebenerdiges Haus mit Garage und schönem großen Garten wir und unser Hund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt es ist alles da was man zum täglichen Leben braucht man kann vom Haus aus los wandern im Ort gibt es eine Bäckerei es ist auch nicht weit bis nach Trier. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig man kann toll entspannen es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet worden können es rundum nur empfehlen wir hatten sehr schöne erholsame Ferien im Gänseblümchen Vielen Dank an Familie. Sehr schönes und gemütliches Ferienhaus. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Hund) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolle Wanderwege "Traumschleifen" in der Nähe. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.
