Our light-flooded, high quality furnished apartment is located in a typical late 90s construction style (resort architecture) fully renovated house on the 1st floor. It is located on a side street off of the Old Channel and is furnished for 2-4 persons.
A 21 square meter high terrace equipped with teak garden furniture, beach chair and parasol opens onto a traffic-calmed street (Linden-Allee).
With an additional TV in the bedroom, free Internet/Wi-Fi access, child travel cot including mattress, children's high chair, washing machine in the bathroom and a comprehensive kitchen setup - including an espresso machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, egg cooker, etc., almost everything is provided, including 4 available bicycles, and likewise various beach accessories, such as beach mats and shelter tents, children's toys, etc.
It has become customary that the new guest finds a filled pantry (coffee, tea, sugar, flour, oil, vinegar, various spices, etc.), and when he leaves the apartment, he refills, for example, the coffee grinds.
Our guests (including many regulars who have been coming back for years) tell us - that, too, adds to the feeling of 'coming home'. Many entries in our guestbook attest to this.
A big plus of our apartment is that it is centrally located, a 5 minute walk from the city centre, the beach, and the Old Channel.
It is located on a quiet street with beautiful linden trees on the 1st floor and has a large 20 sqm roof terrace, where you can have breakfast in the morning, sit in the sun until early afternoon, and end the day with a glass of wine in the evening.
We have furnished it in a modern - but nevertheless cozy - style (continually modifying and sprucing it up over the years), comprehensively equipping it with all the necessities that one is used to at home (and not only counting dishes, cutlery, etc.), so that not only we, but also our guests can feel a little bit at home.
Many books invite you to browse them. And should you not get to finish reading a book during your vacation, take it home and send it back later to our local contact person, Christine Kurowski. Mrs. Kurowski is very appreciated by us and our guests.
She is always helpful and ensures that our apartment is always in top condition; and if our guests have a problem, she will help immediately.

It is around 300 m to the wide beach (see attached photos) with its typical beach chairs, which invites you to relax, but also to take long walks along it to the harbour, where you can watch the cruise ships from April to October almost every day. Also daily harbour cruises are offered to the Old Channel with its fishing boats, where daily fresh and smoked fish is offered. You can take boat trips and fishing trips, or sit comfortably in a café or restaurant or even stroll past the pretty shops and head to the city centre (shopping possibilities of every kind) or to the Warnemünde train station, where trains leave in short intervals for Rostock (about 20 minutes).
From the train station you can reach the cruise ship terminal by an underpass (Warnemünde is one of the two largest cruise ship ports in Germany) and the car ferry that goes to the Hohe Düne. But you can also go via the carpark at the front left of the station to the end of the pier and then along the Warnow to the ferry - a very nice walk!
There is a convention centre with a hotel and many restaurants and fine shops in the Hohe Düne You can also watch seals there from a research vessel at the jetty. Many restaurants and cafes are also located in the immediate vicinity of our apartment.
It is around 4 km from the city centre to a golf course. A large swimming paradise with sauna areas and a wellness oasis was opened in the spring of 2013 at the Hotel Neptun.
For cyclists (we provide a total of 4 bicycles for free) we recommend a beautiful day trip, for example, to Kühlungsborn via Heiligendamm - almost always along the coast of the Baltic Sea, or through the Rostock Heide to Markgrafenheide or Graal-Müritz. More cycling tips are found in our apartment.
The cities of Wismar, Stralsund, Güstrow and Schwerin can be reached in 1.5 - 2 hours - also easily by train.
